Winter Camp FAQ's



​How old do you have to be to attend GOYA Winter Camp?                          
GOYA Winter Camp is for all campers currently in grades 6-12.      

Where is GOYA Winter Camp?                                      
At the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center.
329 Camp Merrimac Road, Contoocook, NH 03229


Where will my camper stay at Winter Camp?                    
Campers will stay in our cabins, which are heated and winter ready!

Will my camper need extra spending money?                  
Campers can bring extra money to use on our field trips.
All meals will be provided, however campers do enjoy purchasing extra snacks during the day off camp.


Does my child have to know how to ski or snowboard to go to GOYA Winter Camp?                    
No, while many campers take advantage of the skiing and snowboarding aspect of the weekend campers can choose to tube or attend our other field trip .

Does my child need to have their own equipment to ski or snowboard?                    
No, campers can  rent equipment at Pat's Peak Mountain for no additional charge.
All campers are required to wear a helmet while skiing and snowboarding, helmets are included in rentals. 


Are campers permitted to have cell phones or other electronic devices at camp?                    
No. Camp is a place to disconnect, recharge, reconnect , and retreat from our daily routines. Any electronic devices brought to camp will be collected by staff members. 
Campers will not have access to their devices for the duration of the weekend. Campers are encouraged to leave devices at home.
