Dear MBC/BDC Alumni,
As MBC nears a major milestone in its ministry in New England, we are filled with gratitude for all that our camp community has accomplished throughout its rich and meaningful history. Thousands of young people have passed through the doors of MBC/BDC, and our alumni know better than anyone the lasting impact camp has had on their lives.
Each year, we receive a significant number of financial aid requests from families hoping to send their children to camp. Thanks to the continued generosity of faithful supporters throughout the Metropolis, we’ve been able to meet these needs and maintain our commitment to making camp accessible for all. While the true cost of camp is considerable, families pay only a portion of that thanks to the love and support of our extended community. We remain proud of the fact that no child has ever been turned away due to financial hardship.
Many alumni, like myself, were once beneficiaries of this generosity. Now, we invite you to help ensure that MBC can continue its mission of welcoming every camper regardless of financial circumstances. One important way to do so is by supporting MBC’s only annual fundraiser—the Metropolis of Boston Camp Golf Classic. You can learn more and get involved by visiting campgolf.org.
