Julia-Maria Aileni
Julia-Maria Aileni is an active member at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Shrewsbury Massachusetts. She has volunteered in Sunday school, and various church activities throughout many years from a young age. She is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology, and hopes to focus on child & adolescence developmental psychology in the future. |

She has been going to camp for over 10 years and can’t wait to give her campers the experience she got from her counselors. She is currently a student at Saint Anselm College studying elementary education. In her free time she enjoys being outside, listening to music, and reading. Jimmy Archambault
Joanna Archambault
Howdy y'all! Joanna (also known as Jo or Jojo) has been coming to camp for over 10 years! She is a rising senior at Saint Anselm College where she studies nursing and plays field hockey. When she's not a staff member at MBC, Joanna can be found driving ice cream trucks, spending time in the lovely outdoors, hanging with friends and family, journaling, or jamming to her favorite country tunes. She absolutely cannot wait for another amazing summer in Tooky :) |
James Babinski
James can't wait for Summer Camp 2022 to get started. He is currently attending UCONN where he studies Human Development and Family Science. As a second year staff member he looks forward to honing his skills such as being an Ice Cream Sunday, and loosing his voice at the loud campfire, but most importantly he wants to learn from his campers to make this the best summer yet. While at camp you'll be able to spot him wearing his brown Barmah hat. |
Kat Barbas
Katerina, also known as Kat, has grown up at MBC. Camp has been a home away from home since a young age, being where she met some of her closest friends. She just graduated from Assumption University as a history and elementary education major. Katerina loves spending time with her family (especially Papou), friends, and animals, and loves to travel and explore. Katerina just became a Nouna to a beautiful baby girl, her second godchild! She is most excited to be able to return to camp this year for the BEST, most hype summer yet!! |
Drew Beaudet
Hailing from St. Demetrios in Weston, Drew has graduated from Walpole High School and is going to attend Bryant University this fall with a major in psychology. This is his first summer as a counselor after 8 years as a camper, and he's super excited to spend sessions 2, 3, and 4 with everyone! |
Maia Beaudry
Maia is beyond excited to return to camp for her second year as staff! Coming from Douglas, Massachusetts, she has been attending camp since she was 10 years old. Now, she is about to enter her sophomore year at Vassar College in New York as a Neuroscience and Behavior major on a pre-medicine track with a minor in Dance. She enjoys reading, ballet dancing, skiing, and exploring the outdoors when she has free time. Camp is one of Maia's favorite places on Earth, and she can't wait to meet all of you there! |

Christiana has been coming to camp since she was 7 years old and is SO excited to be a staff member for the first time this year! She can’t wait to give all her campers the same fun experiences she had as a camper. Christiana is a rising senior at Canton High School and in her free time she loves to play with her 6 pets, travel, read, and watch Grey’s Anatomy. |
Maya Coulouras
Maya grew up going to Saint Spyridon Cathedral in Worcester, Massachusetts. She has been going to camp for 4 years. Two of Maya's countless favorite things about camp are the Glendis and the loud campfires. She enjoys taking walks on the beach, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family. Maya is looking forward to her first summer as staff and is so excited to meet all of you! |
Julia Courtney
Julia loves fun and loves MBC! This is her second year as a counselor and she is pumped to make new memories with everyone. Julia is going to Bridgewater State University in the fall to study biology and currently volunteers at the National Marine Life Center where she helps take care of injured seal pups and sea turtles. She also wants you to know that the photo has a filter on it. See you at camp! |
Nick Dafulas
Hailing from Pawtucket, RI., Nick has graduated from Hellenic College and will enter his second semester of Holy Cross in pursuit of a Master of Divinity. MBC has been a home for Nick since 2019 and he is excited to return to it this summer! S’mores, Greek Dancing, church services, and Color Wars—who knows what this summer has in store! |
Maria Dakopoulos
Maria has been a camper for five years and is so excited to join back as staff this year! She recently graduated from Arlington High School and will attend James Madison University in the fall to study Speech Pathology. Maria enjoys playing lacrosse, basketball, and loves to travel! She cannot wait for this summer and is so so excited! |
Ashley Davidson
Ashley is extremely excited to be a returning staff member for the 2022 camp season! Ashley began attending the Metropolis of Boston Camp when she was ten years old. She will be a sophomore at UMass Lowell in the fall where she majors in Nursing. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, traveling, and meeting new friends. Ashley is most excited to be back at camp and create unforgettable memories and bonds with her campers! |
Alex Dimitriou
Weekend Alex is back for another summer! She’s very excited to be taking a break from playing Lego Star Wars and going to Fenway Park to come spend time with all of you! She’ll be bringing her collection of flags, ability to lift boxes, and slow-pitch softball skills for a jam-packed weekend o fun. Here’s to hoping the summer weather doesn’t shock the system after spending the week in a 4C walk-in at work in the logistics lab. This will be her 7th summer on staff and 15th year overall at MBC and is looking to make the big one five the best one yet! |
TJ Dimitriou
TJ is very excited to join the staff for his first year! He is a longtime camper from Norwood, Massachusetts and from Saint Gregory the Theologian in Mansfield. He won a baseball state championship in his time at Xaverian Brothers High and will continue to play baseball at Babson College in hopes of pursuing a professional career. TJ also represented Boston’s GOYA association as captain of their regional tournament team in Brooklyn, New York. He looks forward to making camp the best ever possible! |
Danielle Dres

Stavroula’s last time at camp was many years ago as a young camper and she is so excited to be returning as a first time staff member!! She grew up in Somerville, MA attending the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. She recently graduated from MCPHS University with a bachelor of science in nursing. She is looking forward to making lots of new friends, strengthening her relationship with God, and providing a great experience for her campers! |
Oliver Fisher
Oliver hails from Maine, and attends the St. Demetrios and Holy Trinity parishes in Saco and Lewiston respectively; he is taking his second year at Hellenic College this fall, and his sixth at MBC this summer. When not struggling with the classics, he's an artist, a singer, and a dedicated clown—with a bit of juggling, a bit of unicycling, and a bit of plain hamming-about as the situation demands. Oliver is excited to look for God in the campfire this year! Καλό καλοκαίρι! |
Louisa Foisy
Louisa is beyond excited for her second year as staff for MBC! She has been attending camp since was seven years old and has loved every minute of it. MBC continuously serves as the place where Louisa can get rid of her “cool card” and be the best version of herself. Her first year as staff in 2021 was easily one of the happiest weeks of her life! Camp always has been and always will be Louisa’s second home. Louisa is a rising sophomore at Northeastern University majoring in Biology on a Pre-Dental track. Louisa loves dancing, fashion, traveling, milk, and everything bagels. She can’t wait to meet all of you and create more core memories that will truly last for a lifetime. |

She is from Easton, Massachusetts, and will be heading over to the University of Connecticut next year for engineering. In her free time she loves going on runs, bike rides, swimming, listening to or playing music, and doing anything outdoors!! She can't wait to see you all this summer! |

Bring on Tooky! He staffed last Fall 2021, and he staffed last Winter 2022. Now, this will be the first time that Philippos will staff for Summer 2022! Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he's a rising junior at Hellenic College Holy Cross with a major in Religious Studies. This year, he has received the GOA Certificate of Byzantine Music! and he looks to continue his music education in Ελλαδας, Σχολειον Ψαλτικης! If you lost him, you could fine him at your nearest chant stand or local nature trail, eagerly looking to grow in his faith and explore the world. Philippos is so hyped to experience the MBC Summer with all of its "count offs!" "get downs!" and "amens!" Λοιπον... nice to meet you! |
Anastasia Hansen
OH, A MILKSHAKE! Anastasia is very excited to come back and serve her fourth summer at one of her favorite places on earth! She has attended MBC since she was 8 years old and has loved every minute of it! She belongs to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in her hometown of Newburyport, MA. Anastasia recently graduated from Westfield State University where she received a double bachelor’s in special education: Moderate Disabilities (Prek-8th grade) and Psychology! During the school year she was a second and third grade Sunday school teacher at Saint George Cathedral in Springfield, MA. Anastasia cannot wait to bring the HYPE and have the best summer ever! She hopes to see you there! |
Nick Heisler
Nick is excited to join the team for his second summer as a staff member at MBC! Next year, he is planning to attend Quinnipiac University as a freshman majoring in Nursing! In his free time, Nick enjoys playing baseball, playing the piano, and camping. He is also excited to attend Project Mexico this July. Nick is excited to be back at camp for a fun filled summer full of laughs and important faith driven conversations! |
Antoni Ioakimidis
Antoni has been a camper at MBC since the young age of 10 and has loved it ever since! He will be freshman at UMass Amherst this year studying kinesiology. He is so exited to begin his first year as a staff member. In his free time Antoni loves playing basketball and is always up for a good sports debate! MBC impacted Antoni in such a great way and he is so exited to share his love for MBC with campers! |
Consta Kaloudelis
Costa Kaloudelis has been attending MBC since he was 8 years old and is excited to return as a counselor. Costa grew up in Virginia, right outside of Washington D.C. Costa will be going to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach to study Air Traffic Management. Costa enjoys mentoring his younger brother's robotics and lacrosse teams. Costa cannot wait to give back all of the fun and adventures that he experienced as a camper to this year's MBC campers. |
Dallis Kehoe
Dallis is currently in going into her last year of college and hails from Norwell, MA. She has a brother, Pat, who is a former MBC staff member & a dog named Cleo. Her mother, Kelly, was also a nurse at MBC for ~10 years. Dallis is super excited to be making her return to MBC following the pandemic and busy schedules during the weekends. |
Chris Lambros
Chris lives in Cranston, Rhode Island where he is an active parishioner at the Church of the Annunciation. This will be his first time as a staff member. In the fall, he will be a freshman at Bryant University where he will major in entrepreneurship. Chris works as a sales consultant at Jos A. Bank Clothiers. During the summer, while working at Banks, he also works at his family's law office. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing basketball or tennis, and going to card shows to buy and sell sports cards. Chris is looking forward to being with you and making your camp experience great! |
Nick Lambros
Nick was raised in and lives in Cranston, Rhode Island. This will be his second summer as a staff member. He attends Providence College and is a Political Science major. He also works at his family’s law office. When he isn’t working, he enjoys gardening and making brick oven pizzas. On top of that, he is an avid genealogy researcher. Nick is looking forward to being with you and making your camp experience a blast. |
Niko Lazouras
Niko has been going to camp since he was 12-years-old and is now a senior at Rhode Island College majoring in Accounting. He loves taking photos and being creative. Combining that with his love for camp, he now does the photography, drone work, social media, and merch design for camp. Niko can't wait to help give campers another summer of memories they will never forget !!! |
George Luzaitis
George started attending MBC as a Crackle camper in 2017 when MBC became his home away from home. George is a rising Junior at Coastal Carolina University studying Marketing with a minor in Commercial and Investment Real Estate. We all know the weather in South Carolina is no match for an unforgettable summer in the beautiful Contoocook, New Hampshire. George can’t wait for the campers to arrive and have a summer like no other. |
Irini Mahida
Irini Mahida, now approaching her second year on staff, recently committed to Endicott College! She’ll be a freshman this fall and will be studying History with a focus in Secondary History Education with a minor in Spanish. She graduated from Monument Mountain Reg. High School! Irini was a camper at the Metropolis of Boston Camp for 6 years and never stopped being committed! She attends Saint George Cathedral in Springfield, Massachusetts where she chants, teaches Sunday School, and helps lead their Junior choir. All of her best friends are from camp and she can’t wait to lead an example to her campers and beyond this summer and dive into the faith, fun, fellowship, and create lots of memories this summer during Session 2 |
Julia (& Shwoolia) Mellen
Julia has been going up to camp since she was 4 and has been attending MBC since she was 11. She goes to the University of Connecticut where she studies Digital Media and Design and is also a part of Greek Club where she practices being Greek. Julia enjoys spending time with sharks even though she is deathly afraid of them (you may even get to see her friend Shwoolia the Shark this summer). Julia and Shwoolia are very excited for a great and zany summer at MBC. |
Sophia Mellen
Sophia is very excited about joining the staff as a lifeguard again this summer. She has been coming to camp since she was about 4 years old, was a camper for 9 years, and has been a staff member for a while, including cabin staff, lifeguard, maintenance crew, and has been coming on the weekends for St. Methodios crew for more than 3 years. Sophia just got her master's degree in exercise science, and now works as a fitness specialist at a retirement community in Needham, MA. She is looking forward to spending time on the waterfront with everyone! |
Katerina Mihailides
Katerina Mihailides was born in Seekonk, Massachusetts. She has been attending the Church of the Annunciation in Cranston, RI ever since she was a baby. She is a rising junior at Endicott College where she studies nursing. She loves baking, skiing, and spending time with friends and family. This will be her first year as a counselor! She is so excited to meet her campers and attend camp this summer! |
Emma Nakuci
Emma knew about MBC as a young child when her older sister Ina used to attend every year. Emma fell in love with camp from the first day she started driving through the dirt road, and she wants other campers to feel the same love she has always had. Emma attends Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, majoring in nursing and pursuing her longtime hobby of playing volleyball. When Emma isn't on the volleyball court or working you'll often find her showing her Albanian patriotism, spending time with friends and family or singing to Justin Bieber in the car. Emma is very excited to see you all at camp! See you soon! |

Ina is pumped to return home to MBC this summer! She has recently graduated from Plymouth State University with her Master’s in English Education. Ina’s hobbies include reading (yes, we know it screams English teacher), spending time outdoors, and being around loved ones. She hopes to make this camp season the best one yet! See you there! |
Zachary Newkirk
Zach has been attending MBC since 2012 when he was 8 years old. He has recently graduated from Holliston High and will be attending Sacred Heart University in the fall. Every time he steps foot onto the grounds of the camp he is excited to experience and learn new things. Everyone knows that he has a crazy side and is always the life of the camp party. He is committed to making the space surrounding him one where everyone can enjoy themselves, laugh, and have fun! He believes that MBC is a place to learn more about the faith and strengthen your connection to it, as well as a place to build long lasting relationships and have the occasional dance party! |
Alexandra Nichols
Alexandra first attended camp as a Crackle camper and is so excited to be returning to MBC this summer as staff for the first time. She is entering her final year pursuing degrees in Violin Performance, Piano Performance, and Music History at Rhode Island College with an added Italian minor. She also enjoys chanting at her home parish in Cranston, RI and is looking forward to sharing her love of music with campers at the chant stand. When not doing anything musical, she enjoys crocheting, reading, walks with her dogs, and caring for her chickens. |
Nathaniel Nichols
Nathaniel first started attending MBC as a Crackle camper when he was 14, and is excited to return for his second summer as a staff member! He is currently studying at the University of Rhode Island with a triple-major in philosophy, computer science, and German, and a minor in art. He chants at his home parish in Cranston, RI and has been involved in many church groups and activities. In his free time, Nathaniel loves to read, draw, play classical guitar, and take care of his dogs and chickens. Nathaniel has made many friends at MBC with shared Christian values and fun memories, and is looking forward to helping other campers to have the same experience! |
Valerie Nikolopoulos
Val is looking forward to spending the summer with her MBC family. She is a rising senior at Assumption University majoring in Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies with a concentration in Communication Disorders. Some of Val’s favorite memories are the times she spent at MBC and the camp counselors who inspired her. She is excited to be a part of the team and create memorable experiences for this year's campers! |
Tony Paganis
Tony is getting amped to be back on staff for the 4th year after first coming as a Snap camper in 2013. He's currently a senior at Harvard University studying mechanical engineering, but outside of school he's usually back in his hometown of Plymouth, MA. You can almost always find him at his shop working on trucks, dirt bikes, all the way up to some pretty big bulldozers, excavators, mining trucks, you name it. In his free time, he's always up to get in some seat time riding/racing his dirt bike. He's ready to make sure his campers have an epic summer at MBC! |
Evangelos Panagiotidis
Evangelos "Evan" is excited to join the MBC team for the first time this summer. Evan is studying Elementary Education at Stockton University and just recently graduated from his local community college this past spring. He attended Camp Good Shepard in the New Jersey Diocese for several years. Evan loves Greek dancing & music, rowing, beach, and spending time with friends. |
Lily Panagopoulos
Lily started going to camp when she was ten years old and is excited to being going back to camp this year for her third summer on staff. Lily is a junior in college currently studying elementary education and hopes to be a 2nd grade teacher one day! In her free time Lily enjoys dancing, going to the beach, and make friendship bracelets. Lily can’t wait to have another amazing summer at MBC! |

Elena is SUPER excited to be coming back to MBC as a staff member for another summer! She has been attending MBC since she was 10 and is now 23! She belongs to St. George Cathedral in Springfield, MA, which is right next to her hometown of Westfield, MA. She is done with college and is excited to start a new chapter in her life! Elena cannot wait to be back at her home away from home to swim, sing, meet her new campers, and bring the hype! |
Efthalia Pelekoudas
Efthalia (aka Lia) is from Tyngsborough, MA, and has been a part of the MBC family for about 14 years. She is working on her undergraduate degree at Curry College where she is majoring in Psychology. Pre-COVID, Lia had been part of the Metropolis of Boston Youth Dance group for 10yrs, so you can catch her on the dance floor when the Greek bops start playing. This is her second year being on staff and she couldn't be more excited for it! She loves the water, sunny days, an iced coffee from Dunks, and meeting new people! P.S. She sings a lot :) |
Eli Piper
Styliani Reinhardt
Styliani is excited to be returning to MBC this summer! She first attended MBC as a JOY camper and continued to come back every summer before serving as cabin staff. Styliani graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2017 and earned her master's degree from William James College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019. She will be graduating next summer with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Styliani has worked with children, adolescents, and families in numerous settings and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge. Styliani loves adventuring with her husband, snuggling her puppy, and spending time with friends! |
Ariana Rios
Ariana is a college student at Westfield State University where she majors in Social Work and has a minor in Ethnic Studies. She is returning as a first time counselor and was a camper for six years. With her free time, she likes to paint, listen to music, spend time with her family, and cook. One of her biggest passions is working with children, she currently works at a daycare and hopes one day to be a child therapist. |
Kassandra Rios
Gabriella Ross
Gabriella has been going to camp she was a JOY camper. It will be her 3rd year at Kapi’olani Community College studying to be a Physical Therapist Assistant. She is so excited to be a camp counselor and to meet the campers. During her free time she likes to run, listen to music, color, make loom bands, and be outside in the nice weather. While at MBC, she likes the Loud Campfire, and all the night activities such as the Dance, Greek Night, and the Quiet Campfire. |
Luke Sintros
Luke has been going to camp since he was about 10 years old and is pumped to be back at camp as a staff member this summer. He recently graduated Andover High School and will be attending the University of New Hampshire next fall for Sports Management. Luke is very excited to make even more memories and have lots of fun with everyone this year! |
Dimitri Skafidas
This will be Dimitri's second year as a staff member and he is ready to bring the hype. Dimitri has been a camper for 4 years and can't wait to come back to MBC as a counselor. He will be attending Fairfield University in the fall majoring in History with a Pre-Law track. In his free time Dimitri likes to ski, play tennis, and travel. See y'all soon! |
Katie Smith
Elliana Spagnolo
Elliana has been a part of the MBC family since she was a teary eyed 9-year-old JOY camper scared to leave her mom for the first time. She quickly figured out that camp was an extraordinary place that would hold a significant place in her life as she grew up to be a Pop camper, and now staff member. She is a rising junior studying pharmacy and playing lacrosse at the University of Rhode Island. Elliana enjoys traveling, being outside, and buffalo chicken wraps. (who doesn't love a good buff-chix wrap???). She is beyond excited to serve as staff and give the campers the same amazing experience that she once had back in the day! |
James Stamoulis
James is so excited to be a part of cabin staff this summer. Last summer James only participated with the Rice Krisipies which he loved but is excited for new beginnings as a cabin staff. This summer is also James' first time as a lifeguard. James is so thrilled to meet new campers and staff this summer. James' favorite part of camp every year is meeting new people and he looks forward to bringing great positive energy to camp as a "newer" staff. James looks forward to this summer greatly and cannot wait to be stuck back home. |
Kosta Tasopoulos
Kosta has been attending MBC since he was 14 as a Crackle camper and is excited to become a first year staff member! He is a rising sophomore at Westfield State University where he is studying Business Management and Finance. During his free time he enjoys listening to music and being outside. He is so excited to meet everyone! |
Asha Tompkins
Asha is stoked to see y'all back home at MBC for summer 2022! She keeps telling her coworkers about it when she's at her media production/waitressing/social media management jobs. They become confused when she performs an interpretive dance to accompany a song about "announcements" each time she hears that word. Asha will ride her longboard down to camp from her humble abode in Maine. She enjoys picking up objects and putting them back down (in hopes of lifting a car off the ground one day), rice, and going to MBC (every year since she was 7). She said to get ready to rumble because this summer is going to be the best one yet! |
Aidan Tompkins
Aidan first attended camp when he was very small. Now he is very big, and being big entails being a staff member. Aidan majors in Computer Science, which is a bummer because electronics aren't allowed at camp. However, he does know how to play guitar, volleyball, soccer, and can whip up some mean Indian food. Aidan attended the parish of St. Demetrios in Saco, Maine, which is where his parents learned about summer camp and forced him to go when he didn't want to. Now he's becoming a staff because he wants to change lives in the way that camp changed his own. But if you have a computer problem you can still come and ask him. |
Nicole Toppses
Nicole first attended MBC as the smallest JOY camper that session. Nicole is studying Biochemistry at Wheaton College and is working hard on her journey to Medical School. If you can’t find Nicole, chances are she is relaxing in her hammock drinking iced green tea with lemon. Nicole loves cold brew coffee, swimming, flowers, Crocs, making videos, and spending time with her MBC family at our home away from home! |
Mimi Tselengidis
Demetra (Mimi) Tselengidis is a recent graduate of UMass Boston and is continuing her education by getting a Master’s in education! She has been on staff for 7 years. She enjoys making people laugh at her "dad" jokes, her random outbursts of energy, and dance parties. She has a warm heart, a listening ear, and loves making the most of every situation! Mimi is sooooooo excited to be back at camp (at her second home) with all of her MBC family this year! |
Annette Tzouvelis (right)
Ladies and gentlemen there appears to be a shark in sight…well not quite. The person in this inflatable shark is named Annette! While Annette is not at camp she is creating art and studying art education at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She strives to become an elementary school art teacher once she graduates. Annette has been going to camp for six years and it’s her second year as a staff member and she is so excited for what's to come for the summer!! Annette will be staffing week 5!! |

When she’s not riding around on her golf cart at camp, she can often be found at her parish chanting during services or decorating the icons with flowers. Alexa enjoys reading, experimenting in the kitchen, gardening, hanging out with her chickens, and learning anything and everything. She looks forward to seeing everyone at camp especially during chapel! |
Maria Varoudakis
Maria is excited to come back to MBC for her fourth year on staff! She’s been coming to MBC for over 9 years and loves nothing more than spending her summers in Contoocook, NH. Maria is a rising senior in college and studying criminal justice and hopes to attend law school in the future. Maria loves soccer, dogs, and night activities! Panayiota Veronis
Panayiota has been going to MBC for over 10 years and is beyond excited to spend her second summer there as a staff member! She attends Salve Regina University and is majoring in Elementary and Special Education. Many things bring Panayiota joy, such as traveling and spending time with friends and family, but nothing makes her happier than being at camp! There is no other place that she feels more connected to Christ and to those around her! MBC has become her true home away from home and she can't wait to share the love and joy that camp has given her with each of her campers this summer |

When she's not at Camp you can find Julia reading, listening to music, hanging out with friends and singing (though you'll probably see her at the MBC chant stand.) Makayla Wolfe
Makayla first attended camp in 2018 as a Crackle camper! Since then she has graduated high school and now attends the University of New Hampshire and studies Animal Science with a minor in Business, with the hopes of opening a dog daycare/boarding facility one day! She is originally from Dover, NH but has recently relocated to North Conway, NH! Makayla has always enjoyed meeting new people at camp and cannot to meet all of you! |
Hope Zouzas
Hope was a camper at MBC for 9 years and is excited to be back as a second year staff member! She graduated from Chelmsford High School where she played soccer, track and tennis and is a part of the Transfiguration church in Lowell. Hope attends UMass Lowell where she majors in computer science. Hope is excited to be back at camp and experience a memorable summer with all her campers and costaff. |
