How old do campers have to be to attend Soccer Camp?
Soccer camp is available for all campers who will be in grades 3-12 in the fall of 2022.
What will the daily schedule be like for Soccer Campers?
Campers will participate in chapel and breakfast alongside MBC Summer Campers, and then head straight to soccer!
After a few hours of soccer, campers will join MBC again for lunch and then head back for more soccer!
Soccer Campers will get a full day of training, and join the rest of the MBC program around 4pm for free-time, cabin time, dinner and our evening activity!
Who are the Coaches and what is the training methodology?
The Clinic will be conducted by experienced and highly-qualified coaches of the Olympiacos FC with experience on training methodology. This is the same one used in the Academy of Olympiacos to train players in the youth teams. It is a unique combination of theoretical knowledge and physical activities. It also combines teamwork and individual tracking of every child’s development.
What age groups do the Clinics target?
Boys and girls between the ages of 8-18 can register and players will be grouped by age, skill level in mixed groups of boys and girls.
What will be the daily program of each Clinic?
The Clinic will combine on a daily basis training/fitness sessions as well as educational sessions with a special subject every day.
What is included in the registration price for the Clinics?
• All participants will receive the Official Olympiacos KIT: Jersey and Shorts
• All participants will receive a Olympiacos Clinic Bag.
• At the end of the Clinic all participants will receive a Olympiacos Certificate signed by their Coaches.
• Every player will receive an Individual Assessment Report from the Olympiacos Coaches.
• Players will need to bring their own soccer cleats best suited to natural grass surfaces and shinguards.
What are some examples of what will be taught at the clinics
Techniques: Agility, balance, perception, reaction, coordination, passing & receiving, turning, receiving to turn, shooting, crossing &
finishing, heading and more!
Tactics: Attacking-defending, combination play, small sided games and many more!
Games: Attacking & Defending principles, possession, transition, playing out from the back, switching play and many more!
Specialized programs: Goalie training. Game theory, hygiene, nutrition, prevention, fair play, laws of the game.
