MAKE AN IMPACT.
BE THE DIFFERENCE .

APPLICATIONS FOR MBC WINTER CAMP

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO APPLIED!
Dear Young Adults,

It is no secret that there are many internships and summer jobs where you can spend your summer working. However, there is no place like Camp; there is no place like Home!

It is important to understand that God sees you and your life as an invaluable resource, a powerful force of influence that is capable of dramatically impacting the world around you, and most  especially the lives of our youth. No matter how you view yourself, God sees unlimited potential in you - utilizing your passion, experiences, gifts, talents, and even your failures and shortcomings to make His presence and love known to the world around you. This is one of the primary ways God views you and your life, the choice is yours... join the team and share the love and light of Christ!

We need YOUR help in providing our campers with experiences of faith, fellowship, and friendship that will last them a lifetime!

In Christ's love,
Fr. Dionysios, Director

Being a Staff Member at the Metropolis of Boston Camp

Christ is at the center of everything that we do at MBC and therefore at the center every interaction that Staff have with a camper. Our Staff serve as mentors to a group of 8-13 campers with whom they will spend the entire week of camp. Applicants must have a genuine desire to work with children and are on call 24 hours/day.

Daily responsibilities include:
- building positive relationships
- daily worship services
- faithfully following the teachings and traditions of the Orthodox Church
- leading activities
- playing hard
- guiding cabin devotionals
- being committed to team work - even in the most difficult of times
- promoting self-discipline and self-awareness among campers
- safeguarding campers physically and emotionally

Each cabin staff member will also assist in running daily activities based on his or her skill set, interests, and the needs of the Metropolis of Boston Camp.
