On over 300 acres of Land, there's so much to see...
From the chapel at the center of camp, to the waterfront, countless hiking trails, the infirmary, basketball courts, soccer field, fire pits, cabins, the cafeteria, and so much more! For more details about our camp programs, visit our Programs page.
Cabins & living spaces
Campers live communally with their peers in a fun and supervised cabin environment. Campers are grouped by gender, age, and grade, with about 10-14 campers per group. Cabins house two groups in separate sleeping spaces, with a large shared bathroom. Cabins contain twin size single and bunk beds, and are equipped with dorm-style, anti-microbial mattresses, and a large storage drawer. Bathrooms contain individual toilet stalls, sink and counter areas, and individual shower stalls with changing areas. Cabins are heated in the winter, and cooled by fans in the summer. food & nutrition
Camp days are busy, the weather is hot, and everyone needs fuel to keep up their energy! Campers and staff are served healthy, homemade, and delicious meals, prepared by a professional chef each day. Chef Nick Speros, the full-time MBC and St. Methodios Chef, and a parent of former campers and current staff members, keeps MBC well fed!
Meals are served three times daily, with opportunities for snacks throughout the day. At breakfast, alongside a hot option of real eggs, pancakes, sausage, oatmeal, or other yummy choices, a cold cereal bar, fresh fruit, and Greek yogurt with plenty of toppings are offered daily. At both lunch and dinner, an extensive salad bar is available in additional to the hot meal being served, alongside plenty of other veggies. Dessert is not typically served at camp (with the exception of birthday cake!), however, other treats, like s'mores and ice cream, may be offered during activities, and campers can purchase snacks, candy, and drinks at the camp store. The camp follows a modified fasting cycle based on the Liturgical calendar of the Church, with no meat served on Wednesdays and Fridays, and other major fasting days of the year.
Camp is a NUT FREE facility. The kitchen can accommodate many allergies and dietary needs. Families are asked to complete their health forms to include all pertinent details as far in advance as possible, so that the kitchen can plan adequately. Families are always welcome to reach out to the camp office with additional questions. For additional information, visit our Health & Safety page.
