ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE DAYS

Arrival  &  Registration  day!

REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 4PM ON THE MONDAY OF EACH SESSION
When families arrive to camp, staff will greet them and provide parking instructions. After parking, each camper will flow through the following registration process.

1. NAME TAGS & CAMP STORE
Campers will receive a name tag to wear through registration day!  You will visit our Camp Store table where you will be able to check the status ofyour camper's funds in their Camp Store account. They will be able to utilize these funds throughout the week to purchase snacks, drinks, and camp merchandise.

2. MEDICAL STAFF
All campers must check in with the camp medical staff. This will consist of:
  • Screening for illness or other communicable concerns
  • Checking in prescription medications (must be in original packaging/pharmacy containers with directions, dosage, camper name, etc.) This is a state mandate and campers will NOT be able to register if their medication does not fit these criteria. Herbal supplements must be in their original packaging. Medical Staff must follow dosage instructions as listed – unless otherwise prescribed by a physician.
  • All medication (prescription and over the counter) MUST be stored in the infirmary and should be turned over to medical staff during registration.
  • Answering any specific questions from medical forms
  • Please note your child must be symptom and fever free 24 hours before arriving at camp.

3. BOYS & GIRLS DIRECTORS
Stop to see the Boys and Girls Directors for cabin assignments! Cabins are built based on age and grade. We try and honor cabin/bunk requests to the best of our ability. If we are unable to meet a cabin request we ask that you trust the program and that your child has been placed in the best environment for them to thrive during their week of camp. There are many times during the day when the entire camp is together!

Families will be asked to sign a release if another adult will be picking them up from camp.

4. OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Any families with outstanding financial matters or missing forms must check in with our office administrator during registration.

After visiting the registration stations, families and campers will move to their assigned cabins! Vehicle traffic is restricted to ONE WAY during registration to maintain everyone's safety. Please follow staff directions to safely move through camp.

5. CABIN CHECK IN

You will drive up to your child’s cabin to unload their belongings and help them settle in! One of the cabin staff will be present to greet you and help you find a bed, get unpacked, and settled into the cabin
6. FAMILY DEPARTURE
After settling in at the cabin, staff will direct campers to the designated location for the opening activity. Families are asked to depart camp after their child has gotten situated at the cabin.
Campers will assemble to meet their cabin mates, participate in the evening chapel service, eat dinner, and enjoy a fun activity on their first night of camp!

Check  out  &  DEPARTURE  DAY

ALL CAMPERS DEPART ON SUNDAY AFTER LITURGY, EACH SESSION
Families are invited to join the camp for Divine Liturgy at 9:30am on Sundays. Staff will greet families at the entrance with parking directions.

Camper Check Out
  • Prior to Liturgy, campers will pack their belongings and prepare for departure
  • Campers will be prepared to leave after brunch and the closing activities. We ask that families allow their children to fully participate in the closing activities in order to meaningfully wrap up their week at camp.
  • Campers will be released to parents/guardians, OR another adult with written permission from the parent/guardian
  • Vehicle traffic is restricted to ONE WAY during departure to maintain everyone's safety. Please follow staff directions to safely move through camp

CAMPERS MAY NOT LEAVE THE CAMPGROUNDS WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE CHECKOUT PROCESS.
  1. Check out will begin around 11:45am
  2. Families may pick up their child from the cafeteria, and together, move the car to the camper's cabin
  3. Families can gather luggage and belongings from the cabin, and then proceed to the camp entrance
  4. At the camp entrance, members of the leadership team will complete the check out process, return any items collected at the beginning of the week (cell phones, medications), and say goodbye

Late  arrival/early  departure

We strongly discourage late arrivals and early departures as they take away from the full camp experience. All exceptions must be arranged through the camp office.
