WORK AT CAMP

The Metropolis of Boston Camp is a Greek Orthodox Camp program offered to campers ages 8-18. Our mission is to enhance the lives of our campers by bringing campers and staff into a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ, their Orthodox faith, and Hellenic culture. MBC provides the opportunity for young people of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston, and abroad, to foster a life-long appreciation and love of their Orthodox faith, friends, and cultural heritage.

To be an MBC staff member means to lead campers one step closer to Christ. To achieve this, the job entails being a role model for the campers in your care and building relationships with them. Through our non-stop program days, starting with chapel, and ending with devotionals, campers along with their staff  will be a part of exciting activities, thought provoking sessions, and an experience of the faith, unplugged in the great outdoors.

Life changing experience.

Non-stop days.

Live Orthodoxy.

Waterfront Coordinator

Must be 21 years or older.
Our waterfront coordinator should be great at communicating with their peers and must have strong leadership qualities. Having a lifeguard certification and/or NH boating license is a plus but not mandatory (We can help the right candidate obtain these). The Waterfront Coordinator will help facilitate all activities at the Waterfront during halftime each day.  The Waterfront Coordinator will support staff in charge of canoeing, dock duties, tubing and the blob, as well as communicate with our lifeguard team at the lake. The Waterfront Coordinator will work with the Program Director in regards to staffing Waterfront duties. They will also be at all swim test sessions to become familiar with all campers abilities.  In addition to waterfront responsibilities, the Waterfront Coordinator will live and work in cabins just like all cabin staff positions and participate in sessions, evening activities & camper care etc.
